The braid is still one of the most prominent hair trends in 2023. This year, we opt for four braids (two on each side of the head), varying the thicknesses: thin ones on the front, thicker ones behind. With high braids then, on hair pulled then slicked back for a sophisticated look. Other options on the mid or low headstock always promise a timeless look. But the real hair trend of the moment lies in the length: in 2023, the braid is worn XXL, whatever the style effect chosen. We were able to see this trend during the Spring-Summer 2023 Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris and the Spring-Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear Fashion Week.
